How St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati is unique

Home visits: We meet neighbors in their own homes creating a bond of kindness and generosity. In 2016, we visited over 8,500 homes.

Charitable Pharmacy: We operate the only stand-alone charitable pharmacies in southwest Ohio, providing free pharmaceutical care to un/under-insured people. Since opening in 2006, the pharmacy has dispensed over 387,000 prescriptions valued at over $44MM.

Emergency Assistance: St. Vincent de Paul — Cincinnati is the leader in emergency assistance services in southwest Ohio. In 2016, United Way’s 211 Help Line referred more individuals to SVDP than to any other service provider.

Thrift Store Vouchers: Neighbors in need can receive clothing and furniture at no cost from our thrift stores through our voucher program. In 2016, nearly $826,800 worth of vouchers were redeemed for clothing and furniture.

Homelessness Prevention: St. Vincent de Paul — Cincinnati is the largest provider of homelessness prevention services in Greater Cincinnati. In 2016, close to 7,000 households received rent or utility assistance, and nearly 90% avoided court-ordered eviction within the six months after receiving assistance.
